Bhubaneswar, Feb 10 (NationPress) Both the men’s and women’s teams from Spain have landed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on Monday, preparing for the FIH Hockey Pro League 2024/25 matches in India.

The men’s team will compete against the host country, India, on February 15 and 16, and will then face England on February 19. Meanwhile, the women’s squad is set to challenge Germany on February 15 and 16, followed by a match against India on February 19.

Both Spanish teams are currently struggling in their respective standings and are eager to secure some victories early in their Pro League journey. The men’s team is positioned sixth, with one win and a draw over four matches, while the women’s team sits in eighth place, having played four games without a win.
