Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), Sep 30 (NationPress) — The inaugural day of the 5th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship 2025 saw remarkable performances from the Railway Sports Promotion Board, Petroleum Sports Promotion Board, and Comptroller & Auditor General of India, all securing convincing victories at the Naval Tata Hockey Academy in Jamshedpur.
In the first match, the Railway Sports Promotion Board triumphed over Sahastra Seema Bal with a staggering score of 13-0 in Pool B. The highlight was Gursahibjit Singh, who netted four goals at the 12th, 20th, 44th, and 55th minutes. Pankaj also made his mark with two goals at 13 and 47 minutes.
