Dubai, Dec 16 (NationPress) The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Trophy Tour was officially inaugurated on Tuesday at the Adam’s Bridge, known culturally in India as the Ram Setu, which serves as a symbolic connection between the two co-host nations, India and Sri Lanka.

This 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will showcase 20 teams, span 29 days of thrilling cricket, and take place across eight prestigious venues (five in India and three in Sri Lanka) from February 7 to March 8, 2026, making it one of the most exhilarating tournaments in the history of this dynamic format.

The Trophy Tour will travel throughout Asia, covering countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Oman, Nepal, Bahrain, and Mongolia. This initiative will allow millions of fans to experience the iconic trophy firsthand, engage in interactive activities, and build excitement leading up to the global tournament.

In an innovative approach, the trophy will also visit schools and colleges linked to players participating in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, providing young fans with a memorable connection to this prestigious event.

Furthermore, in line with the international cricket calendar, the trophy will be displayed at major T20 leagues and select bilateral series, enhancing its visibility across various competitive cricket landscapes and contributing to the tournament's anticipation.

The tournament venues include: Narendra Modi Stadium (Ahmedabad), MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai), Arun Jaitley Stadium (New Delhi), Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), Eden Gardens (Kolkata), R. Premadasa Stadium (Colombo), Sinhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground (Colombo), and Pallekele International Cricket Stadium (Kandy).
