Will Telugu Titans Triumph Over Tamil Thalaivas in the PKL 12 Opener?

Mumbai, July 31 (NationPress) The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is gearing up for its 12th season, kicking off on August 29 with an electrifying weekend in Vizag at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium. The opening match will see the Telugu Titans take on the Tamil Thalaivas, followed by a thrilling encounter between the Bengaluru Bulls and Puneri Paltan.

This season will feature all 12 teams competing for ultimate glory across Vizag, Jaipur, Chennai, and Delhi.

On August 30, the home team Telugu Titans will return to the mat to face UP Yoddhas in the first match of the evening, followed by U Mumba taking on the Gujarat Giants.

Super Sunday will showcase a clash between Tamil Thalaivas and U Mumba, while the defending champions Haryana Steelers will begin their title defense against the Bengal Warriorz, wrapping up an exciting inaugural three days of kabaddi.

The return of PKL to Vizag is particularly thrilling for the city after a seven-year break. The coastal hub last hosted the excitement of PKL during its sixth season in 2018, adding another chapter to its storied history with the league that began in seasons 1 and 3.

Subsequently, the action will move to Jaipur's Indoor Hall, SMS Stadium starting September 12, featuring exciting matchups like the two-time champions Jaipur Pink Panthers against the Bengaluru Bulls, followed by Tamil Thalaivas facing the Bengal Warriorz.

Jaipur has a significant place in PKL history, having hosted the monumental 1000th match during the landmark Season 10 in 2023-24.

The third phase will commence at Chennai's SDAT Multipurpose Indoor Stadium on September 29, with UP Yoddhas squaring off against Gujarat Giants, alongside Dabang Delhi K.C. going against Haryana Steelers, where Naveen Kumar will encounter his former team.

The league stage of Season 12 will peak at Delhi's Thyagaraj Sports Complex from October 13, featuring Patna Pirates battling Haryana Steelers and U Mumba clashing with UP Yoddhas. The league rounds will conclude with exciting triple headers, ensuring fans enjoy non-stop kabaddi action leading into the playoffs.
