Yuva Kabaddi Series: UP Falcons Maintain Their Lead as the Battle for Top Position Heats Up in Division 2 Matches

Coimbatore, Dec 27 (NationPress) The 11th edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series Division 2 at the Karpagam Academy of Higher Education in Coimbatore showcased exhilarating action on its fourth day.
The day commenced with the Hampi Heroes overpowering the Sindh Sonics with a score of 56-24. Krupasagar D was the standout performer of the match, achieving a remarkable 16 raid points, while Someshwara Darshan displayed his versatility. Defender Darshan R contributed eight tackle points, solidifying the Heroes' dominant victory. For the struggling Sonics, Kuldeep Kumar recorded a Super 10, but the absence of additional support proved detrimental.
In the second match of the day, the Delhi Dhurandhars and Vizag Victors engaged in a thrilling 32-32 deadlock. Arpit Nagar achieved a Super 10 for Delhi, bolstered by Nishant Bhati’s impressive High 5 in defense. On the Vizag side, Pirati Srisivatejesh came close to a Super 10 with nine raid points, complemented by Malladi Srihari’s crucial High 5.
The Chandigarh Chargers claimed an emphatic 48-34 victory over the Hyderabad Hurricanes. Nikesh was in exceptional form, achieving a rare double Super 10 with 21 raid points. Meanwhile, Hyderabad’s Suresh Oruganti valiantly scored 19 raid points, but a lack of team support led to the Hurricanes’ defeat.
Concluding the day, the UP Falcons reinforced their top position with a 36-21 triumph over the Chola Veerans. Ashish Bhati and Rachit Yadav spearheaded the attack for the Falcons, each scoring nine raid points, while Navneet Nagar excelled defensively with a High 5. For the Veerans, Arun Kumar's seven raid points fell short of mounting a serious challenge, as the team stumbled in critical moments.
