During a meeting at the MY Bharat Headquarters in Delhi, Mandaviya stated, “These youthful volunteers will unite to ensure that vital supplies and services reach remote villages that have become nearly unreachable due to the natural disaster.”
The support provided by these young individuals, trained by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), exemplifies how MY Bharat has successfully mobilized youth on a large scale for national development, the Union Minister remarked.
Mandaviya instructed that MY Bharat volunteers, alongside District Youth Officers, should collaborate closely with District Magistrates to deliver timely and efficient aid to impacted communities.
Established in 2023, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) is an innovative nationwide phygital platform aimed at connecting, mobilizing, and empowering young individuals through volunteering, experiential learning, and leadership opportunities.
To date, over 1.7 crore youth have registered on the platform, actively participating in national initiatives related to road safety, voter awareness, environmental sustainability, and other vital areas of nation building.
