New Delhi, Oct 28 (NationPress) The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports’ youth engagement initiative, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), has surpassed 2 crore registrations, according to an official announcement made on Tuesday.

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, remarked, “Reaching the milestone of 2 crore registrations is a moment of pride for our nation. It showcases the enthusiasm, vigor, and resolve of India’s youth to engage in nation-building.”

He further stated, “MY Bharat has emerged as the heartbeat of young India, where enthusiasm converges with opportunity and service aligns with purpose.”

According to an official statement, achieving the two crore registration mark signifies the increasing engagement and participation of Indian youth in the collective mission towards a Viksit Bharat @2047.

Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on National Unity Day, October 31, 2023, MY Bharat has quickly transformed into one of the largest digital ecosystems focused on youth in India.

Tailored as a technology-enabled, one-stop platform for individuals aged 15-29, MY Bharat connects young people from both rural and urban settings, empowering them to learn, serve, and lead through various opportunities in nation-building.

Moreover, MY Bharat has become a central hub for national youth initiatives, including the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect, Viksit Bharat Padyatra, and Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat, all of which have seen enthusiastic participation from millions of young Indians, as noted in the statement.

With the creation of over 14.5 lakh volunteering opportunities, MY Bharat connects a vast network of over 16,000 youth club members and more than 60,000 institutional partners, including government entities, educational institutions, and NGOs.

Collaborations with corporate partners have facilitated impactful programs and boot camps that channel youth energy into civic and community actions, the statement added.

Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, commented, “MY Bharat is inspiring our youth to transform aspirations into action. Each new registration signifies a young Indian taking steps toward building a stronger, more self-sufficient nation.”

Since its inception, MY Bharat has developed into a lively ecosystem of youth engagement. Initiatives like Volunteer for Bharat and the Experiential Learning Programme (ELP) have empowered young individuals to contribute significantly to their communities while enhancing their leadership and employability skills.

The platform’s features, including the Public Profile and CV Builder, equip youth to showcase their accomplishments, connect with peers, and explore new growth avenues. The introduction of Quiz and Essay Modules has further boosted engagement by enabling knowledge-driven and creative activities hosted by partner organizations.
