With these outstanding results, India now boasts 21 boxers in both U-15 and U-17 categories vying for gold. Initially, India was assured of 43 medals before the competitions commenced; however, several bronzes transformed into silvers and golds as Indian boxers advanced to the finals.

The U-17 women’s boxers were particularly impressive, spearheaded by Ahaana Sharma (50 kg), who achieved a stunning first-round knockout victory over Kyrgyzstan’s Akmaral Amantaieva. Khushi Chand (44–46 kg) narrowly defeated Ukraine’s Oleksandra Cherevata 3-2, while Jannat (54 kg), Simranjeet Kaur (60 kg), Harsika (63 kg), and Anshika (80+ kg) also secured commanding victories to confirm their final bouts.
