Actress Roshini Prakash Calls Vanangaan a Fortunate Project

Chennai, Jan 9 (NationPress) Actress Roshini Prakash, who portrays the female lead in the much-anticipated film ‘Vanangaan’ directed by Bala and featuring Arun Vijay in the primary role, states that she will always regard this film as a fortunate project.
“Many were unaware of my work before I joined this project. However, once I signed on, everything changed. I will consistently view this as a fortunate project,” the actress says with a smile.
It is a known truth that actors collaborating with director Bala often reach new heights in their careers. Many, from Vikram to Suriya, Laila, and Varalakshmi, have expressed that they gained invaluable insights from him, and now Roshini has joined their ranks.
When asked how she landed a role in Vanangaan, she shares, “I was given the chance to audition for ‘Vanangaan’ after the team discovered my profile. I was asked to perform a few scenes and was selected almost immediately for the role.”
Addressing the rumors regarding Bala's strictness with actors:
When bringing up the persistent rumors that Bala is a tough taskmaster and harsh on his actors, she responds, “There have always been some rumors claiming that Bala sir is consistently strict and harsh with all his artists. However, my experience on set was entirely different. He ensured that every actor had a clear understanding of their scenes and skillfully drew out the best performances from us.”
“After working on Vanangaan, I am confident that I can tackle any complex or challenging role, as I have gained immense learning and acting experience from this film,” she adds.
Roshini emphasizes that director Bala never overlooks a commendable performance.
“He always provides positive feedback to actors when they excel in their roles. He was thrilled and delighted when we completed the first schedule three days ahead of the planned schedule. Moreover, he fostered an atmosphere where we could comfortably approach him with any queries. He explores and brings out our best performances, allowing us to rediscover our acting capabilities. I feel so fortunate to have him as a mentor.”
‘Vanangaan’, produced by Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions and directed by Bala, stars Arun Vijay in the lead role with Roshini Prakash as the female lead. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 10.
