Ahmedabad, Oct 27 (NationPress) Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) announced a remarkable 16 percent growth in total income, reaching Rs 13,793 crore for the first half of this fiscal year (H1 FY26). In Q2 FY26, the income increased by 6 percent to Rs 6,767 crore, driven by stable operational performance and significant SCA income attributed to elevated capex investments.
In H1 FY26, Adjusted PAT surged by 42 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,096 crore, thanks to double-digit EBITDA growth, alongside stable depreciation and a slight uptick in interest expenses.
For Q2 FY26, the Adjusted PAT rose by 21 percent year-on-year to Rs 557 crore, influenced by a one-time positive effect of deferred tax amounting to Rs 314 crore in Q2 FY25.
EBITDA for the first half of FY26 reached a record Rs 4,144 crore, up by 13 percent, while in Q2 FY26, it climbed to Rs 2,126 crore, signifying a 12 percent increase year-on-year. This growth was propelled by consistent performance in the transmission and distribution sectors, along with an increasing contribution from the smart metering segment, as stated by the Adani Group in an exchange filing.
Kandarp Patel, CEO of Adani Energy Solutions, expressed satisfaction over the strong quarter, noting that effective on-ground execution and focused operations and maintenance (O&M) are facilitating steady progress in project capex growth, bringing them closer to completing their secured projects across various business segments.
In the first half, the company successfully commissioned three new transmission lines and achieved a leading daily run-rate in smart meter installations, reaching 74 lakh installations, the highest in the country.
Patel also highlighted that the growth outlook remains promising due to focused energy transitions supported by regulatory stability and reforms. He anticipates a significant uptick in AESL’s capex rollout across all core segments and expects vigorous activity in bidding for the remainder of the year.
Additionally, the cash profit for H1 FY26 was reported at Rs 2,212 crore with Rs 1,167 crore in Q2 FY26, marking a growth of 14 percent each, as per the company’s report.
During the quarter, the company maintained strong operational metrics, achieving an average system availability of over 99.6 percent. The robust line availability contributed to an incentive income of Rs 30 crore in Q2 FY26, reflecting their superior O&M practices.
With recent achievements, the company’s total transmission projects under construction now amount to Rs 60,004 crore.
