Kabul, Feb 23 (NationPress) The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced on Monday that Afghanistan is set to welcome Sri Lanka for a white-ball series in the United Arab Emirates next month. This will mark only the second bilateral T20I series between the two nations, following their inaugural matchup in February 2024.

In One Day Internationals (ODIs), the teams have already played against each other in bilateral series during 2022, 2023, and 2024. The three T20I matches are scheduled to take place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on March 13, 15, and 17, while the ODI matches will occur at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 20, 22, and 25.

"We are thrilled to host Sri Lanka for the first time ever. This event showcases the strength of our partnership with the Sri Lanka Cricket Board, and we are dedicated to enhancing our relationship to deliver an exceptional cricket experience in the future.
