Ahmedabad, Nov 13 (NationPress) A spectacular gathering of literature, culture, and cuisine unfolded in Ahmedabad as Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Ahmedabad International Book Festival 2025 and Food for Thought Fest at the Sabarmati Riverfront Event Centre on Thursday. The event welcomed Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, beginning with floral tributes to Bharat Mata and the performance of Navo Bharat @150.
In a significant act of self-reliance, the Chief Minister, along with other esteemed guests, pledged to foster the spirit of Swadeshi. Patel also marked a historic moment by signing a special canvas, expressing Ahmedabad’s ambition to host the Commonwealth Games 2030, a proud milestone for Gujarat.
The Chief Minister unveiled a coffee table book titled Mission for Million Trees and explored various educational and literary zones, including the pavilion of the National Book Trust of India.
A highlight of the evening was the launch of Barrister Patel, a book commemorating Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary, penned by Indian-American author Jay Patel and co-authored by filmmaker Abhishek Dudhaiya.
During the Food for Thought Fest 2025, Patel toured the Spiritual Pavilion, engaging with saints and spiritual leaders, while praising India’s rich food heritage that harmonizes taste with tradition.
