New Delhi, June 29 (NationPress) In a series of ongoing technical issues, Air India flight AI 357, which was traveling from Japan to Delhi, had to make a precautionary diversion to Kolkata due to a persistent warm temperature detected in the cabin, as confirmed by the airline on Sunday.

The flight, operated by a Boeing 787 aircraft, landed safely and is currently undergoing inspection, according to Air India.

While en route from Haneda Airport in Tokyo to New Delhi, the crew reported the technical issue. An Air India spokesperson stated, "Air India flight AI357 operating from Haneda to Delhi on June 29, 2025, made a precautionary diversion to Kolkata due to persistent warm temperatures experienced in the cabin. The aircraft landed safely in Kolkata and is currently undergoing checks."
