New Delhi, Feb 12 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah conveyed profound sorrow regarding the passing of Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
In a post on social media platform X, HM Shah stated: "The passing of Acharya Satyendra Das Ji, the chief priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, represents an irreparable loss for the community of saints and devotees. Acharya Satyendra Das, who was 85 years old, passed away on Wednesday while receiving treatment at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow, following a brain stroke. His disciple Pradeep Das confirmed the news of his passing.
