New Delhi, Feb 12 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conveyed his profound sadness on Wednesday regarding the passing of Acharya Satyendra Das, the esteemed chief priest of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. In a touching tribute shared on social media platform X, CM Yogi stated: "The passing of Acharya Shri Satyendra Kumar Das Ji Maharaj, the devoted follower of Lord Ram and the chief priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Shri Ayodhya Dham, is profoundly tragic and represents an irreparable loss to the spiritual community. A humble tribute! We beseech Lord Shri Ram to bestow a sacred place upon the departed soul and grant strength to the grieving disciples and followers to endure this significant loss. Om peace!"

Acharya Satyendra Das, at the age of 85, passed away on Wednesday while being treated at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow, following a brain stroke. The news of his passing was confirmed by his disciple Pradeep Das.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Brajesh Pathak, also conveyed his condolences, remarking: "Today, I received the disheartening news that the chief priest of Ayodhya Dham, the revered Satyendra Das Ji, has departed from this world.
