Anupam utilized Instagram to share the video, addressing the Prime Minister directly: “Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today marks your 75th birthday. I extend my heartfelt congratulations on this significant day. May you enjoy a long and healthy life. This is my prayer to the Almighty.”

Reflecting on his past encounters, Anupam noted his first meeting with Modi during his tenure as Gujarat's Chief Minister.

“I had the pleasure of meeting you in your office, and you welcomed me warmly. Subsequently, I organized a special screening of my film A Wednesday in Ahmedabad, where you graciously attended along with several ministers and guests,” Anupam recounted in Hindi in the video.

He expressed admiration for Modi’s distinctive character.

“Your personality stands out. Coming from the realm of emotions, I take pride in my ability to perceive them. For over a decade, you have been at the helm of this nation.”
