Itanagar, Nov 4 (NationPress) Lieutenant General Abhijit S. Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding Spear Corps, visited the forward sections of Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday to assess operational preparedness and the ongoing activities under 'Operation Chaukas', as reported by officials.
Defence Spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Mahendra Rawat stated that the Corps Commander reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Tri-service 'Exercise Poorvi Prachand Prahar'. This significant joint exercise aims to showcase multi-domain integration, synergy, and mission readiness in the challenging terrain of the Eastern Himalayas.
During his visit, Lieutenant General Pendharkar engaged with troops stationed in the forward areas, praising their grit, precision, and professionalism while operating under extreme weather conditions.
