Patna, Nov 11 (NationPress) In a promising sign of robust electoral engagement, the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections has seen a turnout of 60.40% recorded by 3 p.m., according to data from the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Kishanganj district has achieved the highest voter turnout, reaching 66.10% by 3 p.m. The Kishanganj seat (AC-54) led the district with an impressive 68.13% participation, followed closely by Thakurganj (AC-53) at 66.57%, Kochadhaman (AC-55) at 66.53%, and Bahadurganj (AC-52) at 63.27%.

Purnia district follows with the second-highest voter turnout at 64.22% by the same hour. Notably, the Kasba constituency (AC-58) recorded the peak turnout in Purnia at 66.98%, while Purnia seat (AC-62) and Baisi (AC-Baisi) reported 65.74% and 65.08% respectively.

Meanwhile, Nawada district showed the slowest participation rate at 53.17%, with the Nawada constituency (AC-237) lagging at 49.04% by 3 p.m.
