A few beneficiaries shared their inspiring stories with IANS, revealing how the financial support from the scheme became a defining moment in their lives.
Santosh Kumar Oraon expressed his gratitude, stating, "I am thrilled to have benefited from the Chief Minister Entrepreneurship Scheme. I was jobless, but now I have a thriving business and two employees working with me. Our shop is flourishing, providing employment opportunities."
Sujit Kumar Oraon shared, "Thanks to the Chief Minister Entrepreneur Scheme, we offer online services utilizing computers. Residents from the entire Panchayat are benefiting from this service, and several community members have joined us in this endeavor." He added, "After completing my college education, finding a job was challenging, but this scheme provided me with the opportunity for self-employment. I also assist in resolving IT-related issues in rural areas, inform locals about government schemes, and help them with form submissions through my center."
Arvind Kumar Oraon highlighted that ten additional individuals are gaining support through this initiative. He stated, "I have greatly benefited from the Chief Minister's Entrepreneur Scheme. This program has been immensely helpful. Previously unemployed, I now operate a shop that provides jobs for around ten people, allowing others in our community to earn a livelihood as well."
The Chief Minister Entrepreneur Scheme (Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana) was introduced by the Bihar government with the primary goal of encouraging entrepreneurship and self-employment among individuals from all backgrounds in the state.
