“Nitin Nabin has not only ascended to the role of National President, but this marks the first instance the Bharatiya Janata Party has provided such a significant opportunity to Bihar, transitioning from the state level to the national stage. I extend my gratitude to the central leadership for Nitin’s appointment. In the BJP, anyone can progress, from pasting posters to achieving the role of National President,” Singh remarked.
He further pointed out that “the BJP does not indulge in family politics like the Congress party.”
BJP leaders from various factions acknowledged this appointment as a proud achievement for Bihar and a testament to the BJP’s focus on merit, youth leadership, and organizational experience. Senior BJP figure Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi emphasized the party's leadership style, stating, “Whether it’s PM Narendra Modi or the BJP leadership, their vision may soar high, yet their perspective remains grounded.”
He noted that the rise of a young leader like Nitin Nabin highlighted the party’s equilibrium between ambition and grassroots connectivity.
JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha also endorsed this transition, praising Nabin’s political acumen and administrative achievements. “He is young, has served as an MLA five times, and has held significant ministerial roles in Bihar, consistently delivering remarkable work whenever tasked with responsibility. It is a source of pride for the whole state to have someone from Bihar as the BJP’s National Working President,” Jha stated.
BJP leader and former Union Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain shared similar views, calling the appointment a moment of joy for both Bihar and the nation.
“It brings immense joy for Bihar and the whole country that the world’s largest party, the Bharatiya Janata Party, has appointed a young leader as its National Working President,” he said.
