Mumbai, September 12 IANS - Film Producer Boney Kapoor has recently posted a nostalgic image of his late wife, the iconic Bollywood star Sridevi. The photograph appears to be from her late 20s. On September 3rd, he had previously shared a photo from their visit to Tirupati.

Reflecting on their cherished moments, he took to social media to unveil a picture where he and Sridevi are seated on the steps of the Tirupati temple. Sridevi dazzled in a pink silk saree, while Boney donned a traditional dhoti. Accompanying the photo, he wrote, “From one of our many trips to Tirupati BALAJI.” Tragically, Sridevi passed away in February 2018 due to an unfortunate accident in Dubai, leaving the nation in shock. Thousands of fans mourned her loss by attending her funeral procession. Notably, her passing occurred just months before her elder daughter and actress Janhvi Kapoor made her debut in the film industry.

Janhvi made her mark in Bollywood with the movie Dhadak, co-starring Ishaan Khatter. She has maintained the tradition of visiting the Tirupati temple before significant occasions, seeking blessings as her mother once did. Each year, on her birthday, both Janhvi and her sister Khushi Kapoor continue this ritual, honoring their late mother. Boney and Sridevi tied the knot in 1997, shortly after the release of the film Judaai. Sridevi was Boney's second wife; he was previously married to Mona Kapoor, with whom he shares two children, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. All of Boney Kapoor's children, including Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi, and Khushi, are actively contributing to Bollywood.
