Navi Mumbai, Dec 14 (NationPress) The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) and CIDCO announced on Sunday the launch of the inaugural CIDCO Open. This marks PGTI's first event in the city, boasting a prize pool of INR 1 crore. The tournament will take place at the stunning Kharghar Valley Golf Course from December 16 to 19.

The competition will host 126 professional golfers and will follow a stroke-play format over four rounds, each comprising 18 holes. After the initial two rounds, the top 50 players, along with any ties, will advance.

Among the prominent Indian professionals participating are Yuvraj Sandhu (2025 PGTI Order of Merit Champion), Veer Ahlawat, Manu Gandas, Angad Cheema, and Om Prakash Chouhan.

International competitors include Sri Lankans N Thangaraja and K Prabagaran, Bangladeshis Md Siddikur Rahman and Badal Hossain, Nepal’s Subash Tamang, the Czech Republic’s Stepan Danek, Italians Michele Ortolani and Federico Zucchetti, American Koichiro Sato, and Uganda’s Joshua Seale.

Local professionals include Manoj Kumar, Mayur Thakur, and Pankaj Thakur from Navi Mumbai, along with Anil Bajrang Mane from Mumbai.
