Bengaluru, Nov 12 (NationPress) In light of the recent discussions regarding the blasts at the Delhi Red Fort, the Karnataka BJP has emphasized that this incident is a significant case of international terrorism and should not be intertwined with political agendas.
During a press conference in Bengaluru on Wednesday, the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, asserted, "These violent acts are orchestrated by nations that hold animosity towards India."
He called for a united front among all nations to combat such forms of terrorism.
Narayanaswamy highlighted that several individuals had been apprehended prior to the bomb blast that occurred near the Red Fort in Delhi.
He revealed that it has been uncovered that the accused did not initially aim to execute the blast on November 10; rather, they had plans to detonate explosives during the Republic Day celebrations in Ayodhya and other regions across the country.
“Our intelligence agencies performed exceptionally well, leading to the pre-emptive arrests of all involved,” he remarked.
Approximately 2,900 kgs of explosives were confiscated, he noted, adding, “Following this, the infamous ‘doctors’ syndicate’ has been exposed. People are now left in doubt regarding which medical professionals they can trust.”
Narayanaswamy condemned the so-called ‘doctors’ syndicate’ as a group of religious extremists, asserting that their actions equate to acts of religiously motivated terrorism.
He also addressed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s query regarding the timing of the blast, occurring just two days prior to the elections, stating, “I share the same skepticism.”
“The Delhi bomb blast is likely to influence the Bihar elections, favoring opposition parties while adversely affecting the BJP. What sort of political discourse is this? Are these statements appropriate for a Chief Minister?” he challenged.
Meanwhile, on the social media platform X, Minister for RDPR, IT, and BT, Priyank Kharge, shared a previous video of PM Narendra Modi, asserting, "No one holds PM Narendra Modi accountable better than CM Modi himself."
For the Prime Minister, accountability seems to be a principle reserved for others. While in opposition, he relentlessly demands it, yet when in power, he evades it, Kharge remarked.
The PM is an escapist, avoiding press conferences, dodging parliamentary sessions, and deflecting every obligation with distractions and spectacles, he criticized.
