“I have a cold… what do you call it, I have a runny nose. So, I will be using besan cheela and other remedies with besan,” he stated, showcasing his cooking process with a text that humorously read “solo trip.”
He noted that the besan cheela turned out a bit thick but was delicious. “The first cheela was a little thick, but it tastes amazing. Looks beautiful,” Diljit remarked, adding that he ended up devouring one while standing, even before it was plated.
“I have a cold… What do you call it, I have a runny nose. So, I will be using besan cheela and remedies with besan. I ended up eating it while standing…” he could be heard saying in the video.
The actor also shared a fascinating tidbit from his kitchen adventure. He discovered while looking for besan that it's known as chickpea flour in English, and that garbanzo flour is actually the same as besan.
While showcasing his winter essentials, he mentioned: “There’s something quite interesting I wanted to share… I searched for besan and learned that it’s called chickpea flour in English. Then I found out that garbanzo flour is besan. It was a new revelation for me,” he added.
His essentials included ghee, honey, and poppy seeds. He mentioned that if he had eggs and milk, those would have made the list as well.
He also showcased the dishes he had washed post-cooking before discussing another winter remedy for colds.
According to Diljit, the next remedy involves mixing poppy seeds and desiccated coconut with ghee, which he described as beneficial during the cold season.
