Patna, Oct 29 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, expressed strong disapproval of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s comments regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, labeling them as extremely objectionable and irresponsible.
During a press briefing held at a private hotel in Dehri, located in Rohatas, Saini stated, “It is the leaders of the INDIA coalition who are theatrically performing — sometimes alleging vote tampering and at other times brandishing the revered copy of the Constitution. Rahul Gandhi seems to have exhausted all his options.”
He went on to accuse the Congress party of lacking direction and unity.
“The Congress party has no clear policy, intention, or leadership. The INDIA coalition has been entirely rejected by the populace,” Saini asserted.
Saini’s criticism was a direct response to Rahul Gandhi’s comments made at a rally in Muzaffarpur, where the Congress leader suggested that Prime Minister Modi would perform on stage if prompted by voters — a statement that has drawn considerable backlash from NDA leaders.
Adding to the wave of disapproval, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also criticized Rahul Gandhi, asserting that such statements damage India’s reputation globally.
“By making such disparaging remarks about Prime Minister Modi, Rahul Gandhi is tarnishing the country’s image. Leaders from the Mahagathbandhan are willing to say anything for votes — they can defame the nation, launch personal attacks, or even use abusive language if it suits their political agenda,” Gupta remarked.
She further noted, “They are like ‘Chor-Chor Mausere Bhai.’ If the Grand Alliance leaders think they can deceive the people of Bihar, they are mistaken. The citizens of Bihar might be innocent, but they are not naive. They have witnessed progress under the NDA government and will continue to back us.”
Rahul Gandhi’s comments in Muzaffarpur — where he accused Prime Minister Modi of being willing to do anything for votes — have stirred significant political controversy, prompting leaders from BJP and NDA across various states to demand an apology, accusing the Congress leader of undermining public sentiment.
