Ayodhya, April 2 (NationPress) Students from an Ayodhya Gurukul had the honor of welcoming Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, on Thursday. Following his prayers at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, they described their meeting with him as a moment of immense pride and inspiration.

During his time at the Shri Nihshulk Gurukul, Gautam Adani took part in a Yajna and engaged with both students and educators, demonstrating his support for the institution's cultural mission.

In a conversation with IANS, a student expressed: “We feel incredibly fortunate that Gautam Adani visited our Gurukul and showed a willingness to support us. The Gurukul is a representation of our ancient tradition and serves as a hub for Sanatan Dharma, where we are committed to upholding and disseminating timeless values. He assured us of his potential support and participated in a Yajna.”

Another student echoed this sentiment, stating, “Today is a joyous occasion as he visited our Gurukul. Witnessing how the Yajna provided guidance for society, and how both students and teachers were instilled with discipline, was uplifting. He reassured us that the Gurukul would receive assistance whenever necessary.”

Acharya Shashikant Das commented on the visit, noting that Gautam Adani first prayed at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi before arriving at the Gurukul, where he interacted with the students. He appreciated the richness of Indian culture and assured his commitment to its preservation.

Gurukul Vyakaranacharya Shravan Kumar Mishra emphasized the importance of Adani's visit, stating: “His presence in a Sanskrit Gurukul showcases his profound respect for the Sanskrit language and its culture. Sanskrit continues to play a crucial role in safeguarding dharma. Although administrative systems may not permeate every area, the influence of Sanskrit is vast. If this Gurukul thrives, it will significantly contribute to the advancement of Sanskrit and cultural heritage, ultimately benefiting our nation.”

Earlier that day, Gautam Adani visited the magnificent Ram Temple with his family. The esteemed industrialist expressed his delight in visiting the birthplace of Lord Ram after the temple's inauguration in 2024, offering prayers to Ram Lalla and seeking blessings.

This visit coincided with the celebrations of Hanuman Jayanti, marking the birth of Lord Hanuman.

Accompanied by his wife, Priti Adani, and son, Karan Adani, the family participated in the temple's sacred rituals and offered their prayers.

Speaking to the media about his experience of the Ram Lalla 'darshan', Gautam Adani remarked: “It was an emotional and proud moment for my family and me to visit the magnificent Shri Ram Mandir. This temple stands not just as a place of faith but also as a symbol of India's culture, unity, and self-confidence.”

Additionally, the billionaire businessman highlighted the Adani Foundation's initiatives aimed at preserving the nation's rich cultural traditions and heritage in an age increasingly dominated by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

“I pray for Lord Shri Ram’s blessings upon all of us and that our nation continues to advance on its developmental journey. Today, I also had the privilege of spending time with the children at the Gurukul. In today's world, Gurukuls play a crucial role in sustaining our culture. The Adani Foundation is actively striving to protect and promote this cultural legacy. We are committed to providing all necessary support to maintain and pass on our traditions in this AI era.”
