Satish Khatik, primarily earning his living by raising and selling goats, has now become a local sensation.

In an interview with IANS, Khatik mentioned, "I found the diamond yesterday, weighing 15.34 carats. I plan to submit it to the district auction office soon."

Khatik will receive the proceeds after the deduction of royalties and taxes, a process that has previously allowed numerous small miners and laborers in Panna to attain financial stability.
