New Delhi, May 18 (NationPress) In an impressive display of batting prowess, B Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill led the way with remarkable scores of 108 and 93 respectively, propelling the Gujarat Titans into the playoffs following a commanding ten-wicket victory over the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium this Sunday.

After KL Rahul's stunning 112 not out helped DC reach 199/3, Sudharsan and Gill approached the chase with ease, wrapping it up in just 19 overs without breaking a sweat, thanks to their steady and conventional batting techniques. Sudharsan's innings included 12 fours and four sixes, while Gill showcased his skills with three fours and seven sixes in his innings.

This emphatic win marks GT's entry into the playoffs for the third consecutive time, allowing them to secure the top position in the points table, solidifying their reputation as the team to beat this season. Consequently, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings have also qualified for the playoffs, leaving DC, Mumbai Indians, and Lucknow Super Giants vying for the final playoff spot.

Sudharsan, who was brought in as an Impact Player for Prasidh Krishna, wasted no time getting into his groove, hitting Axar Patel for a four right away, while Gill concluded the opening over with a powerful six over deep mid-wicket.
