Milton Keynes, Dec 2 (NationPress) Isack Hadjar is set to join Red Bull as a teammate to Max Verstappen in 2026, while Arvid Lindblad will be making his debut in Formula 1 with Racing Bulls alongside Liam Lawson, as confirmed by the energy drinks company’s two teams.

With both Red Bull and Racing Bulls having available spots for 2026, Hadjar has long been anticipated to take over from Yuki Tsunoda at Red Bull, partnering the four-time World Champion Verstappen after an impressive rookie season.

This season, Hadjar has scored points in 10 Grands Prix, highlighted by an outstanding podium finish during his debut at the Dutch Grand Prix.

Laurent Mekies, CEO and Team Principal of Oracle Red Bull Racing, stated: “Yuki has represented Red Bull for seven years, and I have had the honor of working with him across both Red Bull teams. Over five seasons in Formula One, Yuki has evolved into a complete racer, showcasing remarkable performance during qualifying and excelling in race scenarios.”

Red Bull prospect Lindblad has shown potential for promotion to Formula 1 with Racing Bulls after delivering notable performances in feeder series F2 and excelling during Red Bull's Free Practice 1 sessions at Silverstone and Mexico.

Consequently, Tsunoda and Lawson will compete for the last available seat at Racing Bulls, with Lawson emerging victorious to secure another full season with the team, having stepped in for Daniel Ricciardo mid-2024. Although Tsunoda will not race in 2026, he will remain with the organization as a reserve driver for both Red Bull and Racing Bulls.
