Chandigarh, Feb 18 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, officially launched and laid the groundwork for five significant development initiatives valued at Rs 103.31 crore during a public meeting in Uchana, located in the Jind district. These projects are aimed at enhancing infrastructure and accelerating regional development.

Among the initiatives, three projects were inaugurated, costing Rs 28.54 crore, and two foundation stones were laid, with an estimated investment of Rs 74.77 crore. This move underscores the state government's commitment to expanding public infrastructure and improving essential civic amenities.

During the event, notable figures such as Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi, and Deputy Speaker of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha Krishan Middha addressed the attendees, emphasizing the government's development strategies.

Minister Gangwa remarked that under Chief Minister Saini's leadership, the dual-engine government is efficiently executing development projects throughout Haryana, fostering balanced growth in urban and rural sectors alike.

He acknowledged the vital role the residents of Uchana played in the formation of the BJP government, reinforcing democratic involvement in the state.

Gangwa asserted that the Chief Minister is committed to equitable development across Haryana, prioritizing infrastructure projects uniformly across all areas.

“There was a common belief that only political dynasties could secure victory in this constituency. Another misconception was that the BJP only gained power due to certain leaders joining the party. The people of Uchana have clearly disproven these notions,” he stated.

He added that past leaders, including those who served at the national level, have shown that electoral success is determined by the populace rather than political lineage.

Minister Bedi highlighted the Bangar region's significant historical influence on Haryana's political landscape and its contribution to shaping state leadership.

“There was a period when Congress claimed five seats from this area, and leaders such as Chaudhary Devi Lal emerged from this region,” Bedi recalled, reflecting on the area's political past.

However, he noted that the community has now placed their trust in the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Chief Minister Saini, showcasing a shift in political sentiments and growing support for the current government's development initiatives.

Bedi criticized past leaders from the region for leveraging their political stature for personal gain rather than focusing on local development. In stark contrast, he praised Chief Minister Saini for his direct engagement with citizens and his commitment to advancing infrastructure and public services in the area.
