Mumbai, Feb 27 (NationPress) Director Imtiaz Ali has once again collaborated with the streaming powerhouse Netflix for a new venture titled “O Saathi Re.” This project follows the successful release of “Amar Singh Chamkila,” featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra.

“O Saathi Re” boasts a talented cast, including Aditi Rao Hydari, Avinash Tiwary, and Arjun Rampal.

“O Saathi Re” continually surprised me throughout its development. It tells a contemporary story infused with a vintage essence, resembling an enchanting fairy tale amid the chaos of city life.

“I am both relieved and excited to have Arif direct our exceptional cast, consisting of Avinash, Aditi, and Arjun, who are all remarkable talents. In this new series, Imtiaz will take on the roles of creator, writer, and showrunner, while also serving as an executive producer alongside Mohit Choudhary. Nidhi Sethia has joined as a creative producer, complemented by Vishal Bajaj and Pratik Nandkumar More (Shoot at Site) who complete the executive production team.

The production is handled by Window Seat Films and Reliance Entertainment. Filming is expected to commence by the end of this month, with “O Saathi Re” exploring “the vintage feeling of love in contemporary times.”

This project marks a return to Netflix for the cast — Aditi Rao Hydari is back following “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” Avinash Tiwary comes after his role in “Sikandar Ka Muqaddar,” and Arjun Rampal returns post “Rana Naidu” Season 2.
