While specific details about the storyline remain scarce, reports indicate that Imtiaz Ali’s forthcoming project aims to explore the complexities of relationships, shedding light on the emotional depths of its characters. Furthermore, it has been noted that this narrative is just one of three projects lined up by Imtiaz Ali. Following this, he is set to create a romantic comedy provisionally titled 'Idiots of Istanbul', featuring Fahadh Faasil and Triptii Dimri.

In addition to Avinash Tiwary and Aditi Rao Hydari, this untitled drama is expected to include Arjun Rampal and Ahsaas Channa in significant supporting roles. If the reports are accurate, this will mark the first partnership between Imtiaz Ali and Arjun Rampal.

For those unaware, Imtiaz Ali previously collaborated with Avinash Tiwary in the 2018 romantic film 'Laila Majnu'. Although the film did not perform well at the box office initially, it eventually received the recognition it deserved upon re-release.

Additionally, Imtiaz has worked with Aditi Rao Hydari in the 2011 film 'Rockstar'.

Moreover, Imtiaz Ali is also part of the notable anthology 'My Melbourne', collaborating with esteemed filmmakers Kabir Khan, Rima Das, and Onir. This anthology features four stories that delve into critical themes such as race, gender, sexuality, and disability, with a planned release in India on March 14.

Speaking about the anthology's distinctiveness, Imtiaz Ali remarked, 'Cinema is a bridge that unites cultures, and My Melbourne is a testament to that.' He highlighted how each filmmaker has contributed a unique perspective to this anthology, crafting an emotional and thought-provoking experience.

Imtiaz further noted the rarity of a project that blends multiple narratives while remaining true to a cohesive vision of inclusivity.
