Bhubaneswar, Dec 18 (NationPress) The India AI Mission, functioning under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in partnership with the Odisha government, convened a significant conclave titled ‘Democratising AI Resources Working Group Meeting’ in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
Co-chaired by representatives from Egypt, the meeting was centered on "Democratising AI Resources" and signified the launch of the Regional AI Impact Conference in Odisha, which is scheduled from December 18-20, 2025.
Senior policymakers, industry leaders, and academic professionals gathered to formulate strategies for improving data infrastructure, enhancing compute access, advancing skills, and promoting sectoral AI deployment as part of the India AI Mission.
Significantly, the India AI Impact Summit Working Groups are an essential element of the India AI Mission, consisting of seven specialized thematic forums designed to unite stakeholders from the government, industry, academia, and civil society, all aimed at creating actionable plans for AI implementation nationwide.
These groups emphasize Human Capital, Inclusion for Social Empowerment, Safe and Trusted AI, Resilience, Innovation, Efficiency, Science, and AI for Economic Development & Social Good.
