This meeting comes shortly after Minister of State for External Affairs (MoS) Kirti Vardhan Singh engaged with Ali Mohamed Omar, Somalia's State Minister for Foreign Affairs, during the 19th Mid-Term Ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) held in Uganda.
According to a post from the Indian High Commission in Kenya on X, "HC Adarsh Swaika met with H.E Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle, Ambassador of Somalia to Kenya. HC discussed matters of bilateral cooperation between India and Somalia, following the recent Ministerial meeting on the sidelines of the NAM mid-term gathering in Kampala.
