Both nations have highlighted the significance of capacity building, professional training, and development.
As per the Ministry of Communications, Bhutanese postal officials will engage in training programs in India alongside their Indian colleagues at institutions like the Rafi Ahmed Kidwai National Postal Academy and other training facilities.
These programs will cover various domains such as operational proficiency, management skills, and emerging technologies in the postal sector.
India and Bhutan have also committed to strengthening their collaboration in technology, including the sharing of experiences and best practices related to India's evolving postal technology ecosystem.
This encompasses cooperation in digital postal systems and the Digital Address Code, which is expected to enhance addressing efficiency, logistics planning, and service delivery.
The statement also noted that both sides are keen to continue their partnership in philately and cultural exchanges, with Bhutan Post being invited to participate in philatelic exhibitions hosted in India.
Moreover, India expressed its willingness to share expertise and knowledge in postal financial services, demonstrating how postal networks can promote financial inclusion by mobilizing public savings and offering accessible financial solutions to communities.
