Kurukshetra, Feb 9 (NationPress) Former Congress figure and spiritual leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam asserted on Sunday that India will rise as a Vishwa Guru by embracing the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati.

Acharya Krishnam, the Peethadheshwar of Kalki Dham, Sambhal, was present in Kurukshetra, Haryana for the Chaturveda Parayan Mahayagna, commemorating the second birth centenary of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati.

He stated, "The insights and philosophy of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati remain significant in today's world. For India to attain the status of a Vishwa Guru, we must follow the path laid by Swami Vivekananda and Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati."

He also expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting his admiration for Maharshi Dayanand ji and his commitment to his principles. He believes that the Mahayagna held on this sacred ground of Kurukshetra will steer the nation towards a promising future.

Regarding the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, Acharya Krishnam remarked, "Maha Kumbh is inclusive, embracing everyone, and Sanatan welcomes all without discrimination."

He further commented on the controversy surrounding the Sambhal mosque, stating, "This issue arose because temples were destroyed there 500 years ago. Historical records indicate that Muhammad Ghori, Mahmud Ghazni, and Aurangzeb were responsible for demolishing temples and constructing mosques in their place. We are not advocating for the demolition of mosques; rather, we seek recognition for the temples that were lost."

On the Kalki avatar, he stated, "The Purans proclaim that God will manifest as Kalki in Kalyug, specifically on the sacred land of Sambhal. There is a shloka in the Bhagwat that confirms this incarnation will occur here."

He concluded, "The establishment of Shri Kalki Dham by Prime Minister Modi is a precursor to this incarnation. The construction is underway, and I believe it will be completed within four years."
