Prayagraj, Feb 5 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Prayagraj on Wednesday to partake in a holy dip at the Sangam during the Mahakumbh Mela. Previously, the Prime Minister had come to assess the preparations for this grand event.
As PM Modi prepares for his holy dip, local residents and pilgrims attending the Mahakumbh are buzzing with excitement regarding his visit.
Many devotees express that, thanks to Prime Minister Modi's initiatives, Sanatan Dharma has achieved a renewed recognition.
They mentioned that awareness was limited in the past, but now there is a significant increase in faith and understanding. Residents emphasized that the Prime Minister holds a special regard for Sanatan Dharma, and his second visit to Prayagraj for the Mahakumbh is a matter of pride not just for the locals but for the entire Sanatan Dharma community.
Sonu Rakheja, who traveled from Delhi, remarked: "The management by the Uttar Pradesh government is outstanding, with minimal crowding. I believe that even after facing challenges, everything has been managed exceptionally, setting a world record. Everyone should come, experience, embrace the Sanatan traditions, and take a holy dip."
"The management serves as a benchmark. Modi ji has become a role model for the nation. Under his leadership, everything has transformed. Sanatanis are now more awakened, the Ram temple has been constructed, and these changes are evident," he added.
Local resident Madhu Tiwari shared: "This Mahakumbh is taking place after 144 years, making it a significant event for us. We are thankful to Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi for their efforts. While some inconveniences have occurred, which are expected, overall, things are proceeding well. Traffic issues are currently being addressed."
She continued: "When a leader emerges as a spiritual figure, it helps people connect more deeply with Sanatan Dharma. The spread of Hinduism through Sanatan Dharma is reaching new heights. When our leaders and the nation come together as an ideal, it fosters a sense of nationalism, thereby promoting Sanatan Dharma further, potentially leading to its emergence as a global religion."
Another local, Jitendra Shukla, expressed: "Prime Minister Modi's presence is always a remarkable experience. He has positioned himself as a leading protector of Sanatan Dharma. The magnificent and divine Kumbh we are witnessing stems from his motivation and work ethic. Previous Kumbhs have been held, but this time, the recognition it has garnered globally is a result of the Prime Minister's dual visits and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's weekly engagements, showcasing their profound commitment to Sanatan Dharma.
He further noted: "This has added a new dimension to Hindu culture. Previous administrations overlooked the Kumbh, but the BJP and Prime Minister Modi have made it remarkable, extraordinary, and unforgettable. On Wednesday, Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Prayagraj, and the locals will extend him an unparalleled welcome. As he stated, he will indeed take a dip in this Kumbh, just as every individual aspires for salvation by dipping in the Ganga, reaffirming his dedication to elevating the banner of Sanatan Dharma.
