Following their 2-1 triumph over Pudhuvai Unicorns earlier in the week, Joakim Alexandersson's team now leads Group B with a total of six points. The top two teams from this five-team group will advance to the final round. The next challenge for the Indian Arrows Women Juniors is against the hosts, Roots FC, on April 7.
In the lineup, Alexandersson made a single adjustment from the previous match, introducing goalkeeper Khushi in place of Tamphasana Devi. Khushi played a crucial role in securing the three points, executing several vital saves during the second half.
The opening half featured fast-paced action, with the Indian Arrows Women Juniors maintaining greater possession and taking eight shots, which was double that of Inter Kashi. After scoring their first goal from a corner, the Arrows missed several chances from set-pieces.
