The Indian Arrows now conclude their group stage with nine points from four matches and are currently at the top of Group B. They are now waiting for the outcome of the match between Inter Kashi and Roots FC this afternoon. Should Inter Kashi fail to secure a victory against Roots, the Arrows’ place in the Final Round will be confirmed today.

Divyani opened the scoring as the Arrows’ attack surged past the Casa Barwani defence. With only the goalkeeper to beat, Divyani had the choice to pass to three teammates but opted to take the shot herself, hitting the post. Fortunately, she capitalised on the rebound and found the net.

Captain Shveta extended the lead by completing a cut-back from Anushka, and Abhista followed by evading her marker to score the third goal.

Then, the stage was set for Anushka Kumari to shine; she already had one assist before netting two goals in quick succession just before the half-hour mark. The first was a close-range finish, while the second was a well-executed goal, as she navigated past the goalkeeper after receiving a pass behind the defence and slotted the ball into an empty net.

After the break, she completed her hat-trick by turning in a corner at the far post, bringing the tally to six. Anushka wasn’t finished; she set up substitute Gurleen for the seventh goal. Gurnaz, who replaced Anushka, capped off the scoring with a superb finish from a tight angle at the near post.
