New Delhi, July 5 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi readies for his journey to Brazil for the BRICS Summit, the Indian community in Brazil is preparing a remarkable performance in honor of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces, and the Prime Minister himself.
In a distinctive cultural presentation, members of the Indian diaspora will showcase a semi-classical dance inspired by the valor and pride associated with Operation Sindoor, a military initiative that represents bravery, sacrifice, and national honor.
Rekha, one of the performers, expressed to IANS, “We have choreographed a semi-classical dance dedicated to PM Modi. It revolves around Operation Sindoor and is a sincere tribute to our courageous soldiers.”
Sneha, another participant, remarked, “I will be integrating a painting of Operation Sindoor into our dance. As women artists, we also want to pay tribute to PM Modi, alongside Vyomika Singh and Sofia Qureshi, who symbolize strength and inspiration.”
The enthusiasm extends beyond the performers, with local Brazilian residents also eagerly awaiting the Prime Minister’s visit.
“I’m overjoyed that PM Modi is coming. It’s truly a privilege for Brazil,” said one local.
Another added, “This is like a dream realized. We feel incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity to meet him -- words can’t express our pride.”
PM Modi is set to participate in the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro on July 6-7, followed by a historic bilateral visit to Brasilia -- the first by an Indian PM in nearly 60 years. During his stay, he is anticipated to engage in discussions with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and connect with various world leaders on the sidelines of the summit.
This trip to Brazil is the fourth stop on PM Modi’s five-nation tour. Earlier, he arrived in Trinidad & Tobago, where he addressed the Joint Assembly of Parliament, underscoring India’s commitment to the “Global South first” initiative.
Earlier this week, PM Modi traveled to Ghana, where he had extensive discussions with President John Dramani Mahama and was honored with the nation’s highest civilian award -- The Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana. Several significant agreements were also established to enhance bilateral collaboration.
