Following the remarkable achievement of the Indian women’s wrestling team, which also clinched the Champion Trophy, the men’s freestyle squad has made history by finishing at the pinnacle of the standings.
This marks India’s finest performance in the freestyle category at any Asian Wrestling Championship.
The gold medals were earned by Nikhil in the 61 kg, Sujeet in the 65 kg, Jaideep in the 74 kg, Chander Mohan in the 79 kg, Sachin in the 92 kg, and Vicky in the 97 kg weight classes.
A silver medal was secured by Jaspooran Singh in the 125 kg category.
