New Delhi, May 11 (NationPress) BJP National General Secretary B.L. Santhosh stated that the world has witnessed the capabilities of India following its successful operations against Pakistan's 11 airbases, which compelled its Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) to reach out to New Delhi. In a message on X, Santhosh remarked, "11 airbases struck within minutes led to PAK contacting DGMO, India. This occurred after nearly blocking every assault for 96 hours. The world has observed India's strength."
The 11 airbases identified include: Nur Khan/Chaklala (Rawalpindi), Rafiqui (Shorkot), Murid (Punjab), Sukkur (Sindh), Sialkot (Eastern Punjab), Pasrur (Punjab), Chunian (Radar/Support Installation), Sargodha (Mushaf Base), Skardu (Gilgit-Baltistan), Bholari (Near Karachi), and Jacobabad (Sindh-Balochistan).
"With Indian forces targeting Sargodha airfield & Kirana Hills, Pakistan was inevitably prompted to contact Indian DGMO. The ability to penetrate Sargodha airbase without interception illustrates the strength of our defenses and the fragility of Pakistan's claims," he added in another post.
The Indian military executed a successful 'Operation Sindoor' against nine high-value terror installations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on May 7.
In response to this success, Pakistan attempted to strike military and civilian targets in India. All assaults were thwarted, and the Indian Armed Forces retaliated appropriately.
Government briefings have indicated that numerous airbases in Pakistan suffered destruction due to precise retaliation, while ensuring minimal civilian harm.
Though the Indian Air Force (IAF) has not disclosed specific details regarding the recent operations, it affirmed that the missions assigned in Operation Sindoor were carried out with precision and professionalism, and the operation remains ongoing.
Earlier, BJP leader Amit Malviya highlighted that India's 90-minute targeted strikes on major Pakistani airbases during Operation Sindoor represented a significant shift in regional military dynamics, effectively undermining Pakistan's air superiority.
In a post on his X account on Sunday, Malviya, who oversees the BJP's National Information & Technology Department, stated that these preemptive and precise strikes compromised Pakistan's ability to maintain air dominance, coordinate national defense, and launch any effective counter-response.
He also listed the 11 Pakistani bases that were attacked and rendered inoperable, emphasizing that each base was crucial, and their destruction inflicted both strategic and psychological damage on the Pakistani military.
Malviya concluded his post by stating, "Ultimately, India's swift and coordinated strikes on these airbases delivered a strategic blow to Pakistan's aerial capabilities."
The dismantling of radar systems, command centers, and strike platforms left the PAF disoriented and unable to respond effectively, he noted.
