Mumbai, July 22 (NationPress) Music composer Mithoon, who has unveiled his latest single ‘Chandaniya’, expressed that the essence of the melody lies within an emotional realm.
This track, crafted by Mithoon, features the vocals of Vishal Mishra and lyrics penned by Sayeed Quadri. It forms a part of Mithoon’s album ‘Master of Melody’.
Following the considerable acclaim of ‘Saiyaara’, ‘Chandaniya’ serves as the second offering from Mithoon’s album, continuing his journey into emotionally evocative and minimalist storytelling through music.
Discussing the song, Mithoon remarked, “2025 has been a humbling experience - witnessing how deeply people resonate with my music has been truly moving. Chandaniya is part of my album Master of Melody, which showcases music deeply rooted in the emotional space I often revisit. It’s sincere, reflective, and reduced to its core.”
He added, “The feedback thus far has only intensified my anticipation to see how listeners connect with the remaining tracks on the album.”
The music video for the song is directed by Dhruwal Patel and Jigar Mulani, reflecting the song's essence—focused, serene, and layered with emotion. It features Ashish Chanchlani and Elli AvrRam, who bring Mithoon’s vision to life with remarkable performances.
The song is brought to you by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series. ‘Chandaniya’ is currently available on T-Series’ official YouTube channel and all major streaming platforms.
Mithoon has previously mentioned that deconstructing his songs is nearly impossible due to their minimalist orchestration. He believes in preserving the essence of a song through simple programming.
He previously stated to IANS during an interview for ‘Saiyaara’, “Typically, you can’t break down my songs. They are already very minimalistic. I see the song, and its emotion, as the identities of the piece. No matter how much programming is applied or omitted.”
He also credited this minimalist approach to director Mohit Suri, with whom he has collaborated for two decades, stating, “Often, Mohit has only heard my compositions on the piano and approved them instantly. He has an innate ability to gauge a song's impact just from the piano. In many cases, he believes it sounds even better that way. This is Mohit Suri’s unique talent. As a poet, composer, and arranger, my passion for music often drives me, but Mohit helps keep it grounded.”
