Jerusalem/New Delhi, Nov 3 (NationPress) Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gideon Sa'ar, is set to engage in discussions with External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar in New Delhi on Tuesday, as confirmed by the Israeli Foreign Ministry on Monday.

During his two-day diplomatic visit to India, Sa'ar will also meet with other high-ranking officials in the Indian government.

The visiting minister has a packed schedule that includes meetings with government officials, ambassadors, diplomats, leaders of research institutes, and local business figures, as stated by the Israeli MFA on Monday.

In addition to these engagements, the Foreign Minister will provide a briefing on Middle Eastern affairs to scholars focused on foreign policy and security before heading back to Israel on Wednesday.

Prior to this visit, Israeli media reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is anticipated to travel to India in the upcoming months as relations between the two nations continue to strengthen.

Earlier this year, Sa'ar represented Israel at the Munich Security Conference, where he participated in extensive policy discussions with numerous foreign ministers, including EAM Jaishankar.
