Rider Registration for the ISRL Season 2 Mega Auction Begins

Pune, April 15 (NationPress) The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), recognized as the world’s premier franchise-based Supercross league, is set to launch Season 2 with rider registration opening on April 24. This season promises to introduce fresh international competitors while welcoming back renowned talents from around the world.

The registration encompasses four competitive categories: 450cc International Riders, 250cc International Riders, 250cc India-Asia Mix, and 85cc Junior Class.

Participants can sign up for the mega auction, where teams will curate their ideal rosters for the upcoming 2025 season. It is essential to note that registration does not ensure participation; it merely serves as the initial step in joining the official rider pool for team selection during the auction.

Following a successful inaugural season that showcased over 100 elite competitors from nine nations and thrilled fans across various Indian cities, Season 2 is set to elevate the excitement with greater aspirations, an expanded format, and increased star power.

Rugved Barguje, a three-time Indian National Supercross Champion, shared his enthusiasm, stating, "The league has transformed the landscape of Indian motorsport, making it more organized and structured, and providing a professional platform for athletes to excel. Season 2 is set to be even more spectacular, and I’m eager to participate!"

Eeshan Lokhande, co-founder of the Indian Supercross Racing League, remarked, "ISRL Season 1 was merely the starting point. Given the global attention and the talented athletes we observed, we are entering Season 2 with renewed vigor and assurance. With Salman Khan joining us as the brand ambassador, his unparalleled charisma will certainly elevate the world of Supercross. We are delighted to see many international riders returning and a larger talent pool gearing up for the challenge."

Jordi Tixier, World Champion MX2 (2014), added, "Season 1 exceeded my expectations completely. The tracks, the audience, and the progressive improvements by the organizers made it truly memorable. India displayed genuine enthusiasm for Supercross, and I am excited to return. I can't wait to create more unforgettable moments in Season 2."

Season 1 featured some of the most prominent figures in global motocross, including Jordi Tixier (World Champion MX2, 2014), Matt Moss (nine-time Australian MX & SX Champion), Thomas Ramette, Hugo Manzato, and many others. The talent pool spanned countries from Australia to France and Thailand to South Africa.

Indian champions such as Rugved Barguje, Ikshan Shanbhag, Prajwal Vishwanth, Sarthak Chavan, and Shlok Ghorpade competed alongside international professionals, making history on tracks built to world-class standards.

Team BigRock Motorsports, under the leadership of India's Dakar pioneer CS Santosh, claimed the championship title in Season 1.
