Mumbai, March 30 (NationPress) On the 24th anniversary of the passing of renowned lyricist Anand Bakshi, actor Jackie Shroff took a moment to honor the remarkable contributions of this wordsmith to Indian cinema.

Jackie shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, featuring a photograph of Anand Bakshi along with the classic song “Pyar karne wale” from his debut film “Hero”, which premiered in 1983.

He simply captioned the image: “Anand Bakshi ji (21 July 1930- 30 March 2002.)”

Bakshi's journey began with his first break in a film directed by Brij Mohan, titled Bhala Aadmi, starring Bhagwan Dada. His inaugural song for this film was “Dharti Ke Laal Na Kar Itna Malaal,” recorded on November 9, 1956.
