New Delhi, April 11 (NationPress) – In a standard update, the Government announced on Saturday that the India-flagged LPG vessel Jag Vikram has successfully navigated through the Strait of Hormuz. This comes as maritime operations are under close surveillance due to rising tensions in the Gulf region.

The vessel, which is transporting approximately 20,400 metric tonnes of LPG and has a crew of 24 seafarers, is scheduled to dock in Mumbai on April 15, as reported by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.

In a bid to assure the safety of Indian maritime interests, the Government confirmed that all Indian seafarers in the vicinity are unharmed, with no incidents involving Indian-flagged vessels reported in the last 24 hours.
