Ljubljana, May 26 (NationPress) An all-party parliamentary delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi has landed in Slovenia as part of India's Operation Sindoor global outreach initiative.

The delegation received a briefing from Indian Ambassador to Slovenia Amit Narang on Monday, focusing on India's relations with this European nation and its firm stance against cross-border terrorism.

"India and Slovenia enjoy a cordial relationship built on mutual trust and shared values. As a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, Slovenia plays a vital role in international discussions on counter-terrorism and the promotion of global peace. India's message advocating national unity and zero tolerance for cross-border terrorism will further reinforce bilateral cooperation in combating global terrorism," the Indian Embassy shared on X on Monday.

This delegation is part of India's diplomatic outreach to emphasize the importance of Operation Sindoor and India’s ongoing battle against Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism. They were received upon arrival by Ambassador Amit Narang and Embassy officials.

Among the parliamentarians in the Kanimozhi-led delegation are Samajwadi Party MP Rajeev Rai, BJP MP Captain Brijesh Chowta (Retd.), RJD MP Prem Chand Gupta, AAP MP Ashok Kumar Mittal, and former Deputy Permanent Representative of India to the UN, Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri.

The delegation arrived in Slovenia after a successful trip to Russia, reinforcing India’s strong position against terrorism.

"Our visit to Moscow, Russia, has yielded significant support from various sectors, including government, legislature, think tanks, and media. Russia has steadfastly supported India in its fight against terrorism, firmly stating that it will not tolerate terror in any form from any soil," Ashok Mittal remarked in a post on X.

"As we engage with Slovenia, a nation committed to peace and progress, we advocate Bharat’s strong position. Terrorism anywhere disrupts peace everywhere. As the world's 4th largest economy, India cannot be isolated from global repercussions, nor can any other nation. We anticipate Slovenia's support in this shared global pursuit of peace and prosperity," the post concluded.
