Bhopal, Oct 30 (NationPress) Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda stated on Thursday that Madhya Pradesh has experienced comprehensive development under the BJP administration and is on the path to becoming a fully developed state by 2047.
Devda, a seasoned BJP leader, expressed these views in an article released ahead of the 70th Foundation Day of Madhya Pradesh, which will be celebrated on November 1.
Madhya Pradesh was established on November 1, 1956, and interestingly, was also divided on the same date in 2000 when Chhattisgarh was formed as an independent state.
"My sincere congratulations and best wishes to all residents of the state on this significant occasion. This is a time to celebrate Madhya Pradesh’s accomplishments and pay tribute to all who played a role in its development," Devda wrote.
The Minister emphasized that with youthful dynamism and rich natural resources, Madhya Pradesh is set for swift economic advancement. "The state’s fertile lands, abundant water resources, and consistent power supply create a robust foundation for growth," he mentioned.
He noted that the government aims to double the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) by 2029. Enhancements in rural infrastructure along with a steady influx of industrial investments have made Madhya Pradesh an increasingly desirable business hub.
With an industrial land reserve of over 1.2 lakh acres, the state is actively developing over 112 industrial zones and has pinpointed 14 greenfield locations. Proactive and business-friendly policies, according to Devda, have simplified the process of establishing businesses in Madhya Pradesh.
"Today, we can assert with confidence that Madhya Pradesh has undergone a total transformation and is prepared to reach even greater heights. During this ‘Amrit Kaal’ of India's development, Madhya Pradesh has set its sights on ambitious goals," he remarked.
The Deputy Chief Minister also underscored the state’s natural and cultural wealth. "Our fertile terrain, forests, and water bodies are enriched by a distinguished cultural legacy," he stated.
In conclusion, Devda said: "Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Madhya Pradesh is poised to ascend to new levels of progress. With the collaboration of its citizens, the state will fulfill its developmental objectives."
