Mumbai, Jan 25 (NationPress) Renowned comedian Kapil Sharma is gearing up for his comeback with the sequel to his 2015 blockbuster “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon”. Filming has officially begun in Mumbai.
The much-awaited sequel has commenced production in Mumbai. Directed by Anukalp Goswami, this venture is backed by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan under the banner of Venus Worldwide Entertainment in collaboration with Abbas Mustan Film Production.
This film represents a significant reunion for Kapil with the iconic duo Abbas-Mustan, who directed the first film. Joining the ensemble cast is the talented Manjot Singh, known for his roles in “Fukrey”, “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!”, “Dream Girl”, and “Wild Wild Punjab”.
“Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon” marked Kapil’s entry into Bollywood. The star-studded cast includes Sai Lokur, Jamie Lever, Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sharat Saxena, and Manoj Joshi.
The storyline follows a man who is married to three women, all residing in the same building, unaware of each other’s existence. To complicate matters, all his wives receive invitations to his upcoming fourth wedding.
Kapil is multifaceted, working as a stand-up comedian, television host, actor, dubbing artist, producer, and singer. He is widely recognized for hosting the stand-up comedy and talk show The Great Indian Kapil Show and The Kapil Sharma Show.
The 43-year-old entertainer emerged victorious in the stand-up comedy reality show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge season 3 in 2007.
He initially hosted and produced popular television comedy shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and Family Time with Kapil. Kapil has won several seasons of Comedy Circus alongside various partners and was a second runner-up in the singing reality show Star Ya Rockstar in 2011.
